Driven by a lifelong passion for music and film, Anna Garcia Lascurain has built a dynamic career at the intersection of sound, storytelling, and brand identity. A graduate of New York University’s Music Business program, Anna began her journey at Search Party Music in New York, where she music supervised campaigns for major brands including Google, Starbucks, Target, Cadillac, Chevy, and American Express, as well as films such as Grey Gardens, The Vow, Friends with Kids, and The University of Sing Sing.
Anna went on to join the legendary Sub Pop Records, where she rose to Director of Licensing, overseeing music placements from Sub Pop’s extensive catalog in hundreds of advertising, film, television, and gaming projects. Her work helped bring the label’s roster of more than 500 artists to global audiences across screens and soundtracks.
Now based in Austin, Texas, Anna is Senior Producer and Music Supervisor at Squeak E. Clean Studios, a global creative audio network. Over the past four years, she has led memorable campaigns including Apple’s “Someday” directed by Spike Jonze and starring Pedro Pascal; Gucci’s short film “The Tiger”; Verizon’s 2024 Super Bowl spot featuring J Balvin; and Instacart’s “Kazoo Show”.
In addition to her production and music supervision work, Anna has performed as a member of Austin based community choir Panoramic Voices since 2019. Through this experience, she has performed at various venues across Austin, as well as New York’s iconic Carnegie Hall in 2024.
